RUET centre for students’ global job prospects
The Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) authorities have decided to establish a foreign language centre, following directives from the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The centre will initially offer German and Japanese language courses.
The decision was taken at the university's 115th emergency syndicate meeting held at the Vice-Chancellor's conference room on Saturday.
RUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr S M Abdur Razzak presided over the meeting.
The centre is expected to enhance students' foreign language skills and expand their opportunities in the international job market.
