State Minister Yasser Khan Choudhury mourns journalist Amir Khasru’s death
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury has expressed deep shock at the death of senior journalist and former Voice of America (VoA) Bangladesh correspondent Amir Khasru.
In a condolence message today, the state minister said late Amir Khasru was always vocal in upholding democracy and justice.
He remarked that the void created in the media landscape by his passing would not be easily filled.
Yasser prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
