Xiaomi Bangladesh plans to expand its ‘Made in Bangladesh’ product lineup with TVs and smart devices. The products are currently being imported, with plans for local assembly in the future to deliver smart living solutions and support the country’s economic development.
In a special interview with The Shuttle Times on Tuesday Xiaomi Bangladesh's Country Manager Ziauddin Chowdhury informed that the company currently produces and assembles handsets in its local factory.
The company now plans to produce or at least assemble other high-value products including TVs and other lifestyle products in its factory to increase value-added production from the facility, he added.
